1. Engine note.
I had planned to drive the car to someone who specialises in Chevy V8's for a tune. In order to reduce the engine noise I needed a home tune, so I did that on 16th March. I also needed  to beef up the baffle.
I made up a small basket from ali mesh fitting into the end of each side pipe.
I put some wire wool into the basket and re-fitted the exhaust.
I hope this plus the tune is enough to reduce the noise level..

  2. Footwell nuts.
    Removed the rubber & grommets.
Purchased some adhesive 20mm thick aluminiumised backed foam mat [from Europa] and fixed over the lot.

  3.
  4. Made wooden plate to fix over the heater holes in the dash, I'll bolt this on so they can't get it off.

  5. Removed the heater mounting bracket, I'll make up an edge that is 2.5mm radii then replace.
  6. The tyrap mounts in the boot hade come loose as the GRP is rough. So I mixed up a little resin and fixed them in place, now rock solid.

Booked the re-test for 22nd March..

I PASSED!!

I knocked 4 db off the exhaust note [down to 98]
All other bits just fine.

Phew.
