The is the time to move trees that do not like hard frosts under cover.

Most trees benefit from a cool period to set them into dormancy.

I have four main areas for my trees over winter.

1. Indoors
2. Partially heated greenhouse
3. Green netting tunnel next to the house
4. Bonsai staging open to the elements

Monitor trees at least once a week, I lift and examine the pot and stand to remove sheltering bugs.

If not already done check, clean and sharpen tools.
